Guest links (Links tab)
In Share → Share links → «Links» tab you get public board URLs (/b/…): view-only and contribute. Each block shows the URL, permission, last regenerated date, and Copy / Regenerate.
What it is for
Give access without an Idear account: view only, or contribute (technical collaborator: upload files, draw, create own elements).
How to use it
- Open Share → Share links → Links.
- View-only link: guest sees the board; cannot create, edit, or delete.
- Contribute link (technical collaborator): can copy/paste existing content, create or edit their own elements, and add images/files. Reduced toolbar: drawing and annotation yes; no AI or owner tools.
- Click Copy and send the URL. No Idear account required.
- Temporary access (e.g. a few days): when the window ends, click Regenerate on that link. The old URL stops working; board content is kept.
Tips
- Regenerate = rotate/revoke the link; it does not delete work already added.
- Guests pick a name and color on entry; they show as guest authors in layers.
- If the client should only review and comment without editing or uploading to the canvas, use «Share with client» (/c/…), not the contribute link.
